Licensed Professional Counselor
Cassidy is a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate (LPCC), Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) and a certified birth and bereavement doula through Stillbirthday. She received both her Bachelor of Science in Applied Psychology and Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Regis University. Cassidy has worked with adults, teens, children and families in community mental health and in the palliative and hospice care settings. She specializes in bereavement counseling and has received specialty training through Postpartum Support International to assess for and treat perinatal mental health disorders.
Cassidy’s personal journey led her to this work and she is passionate about supporting individuals in their experiences of infertility, loss and postpartum. She believes no one should suffer in silence during a time that feels so isolating and lonely.
Cassidy’s treatment style is client-centered as she strives to meet client’s where they are and build a genuine relationship based on compassion, trust and safety in vulnerability. She is comfortable pulling from different theories including existentialism, Adlerian, solution focused and positive psychology to meet the needs of her clients. Cassidy strives to be a companion on the client’s journey through the anxieties and stress associated with reproductive concerns. She believes anyone can benefit from the exploration and meaning making process that takes place in therapy sessions and she is honored to do that work alongside her clients.
